About Embanet:

Community Relations

Embanet is dedicated to giving back to the communities that have opened multiple doors for us. We appreciate all the opportunities that have been presented to us and take pride in the role we are able to play in bettering the lives of those around us. Over 2008, we were pleased to volunteer with the following non-profit organizations:
  • Habitat for Humanity
Habitat for Humanity Toronto is a non-profit, non-denominational Christian housing organization. They welcome all people without discrimination to join them as they build simple, decent, affordable homes in partnership with low-income families. Every 10 minutes, Habitat for Humanity helps a family improve their housing situation in more than 100 countries around the world.
  • World Wildlife Fund
For more than 45 years, WWF has been protecting the future of nature. The largest multinational conservation organization in the world, WWF works in 100 countries and is supported by close to 5 million members globally. WWF's unique way of working combines global reach with a foundation in science and ensures the delivery of innovative solutions that meet the needs of both people and nature.
  • Interval House
Interval House provides a continuum of services that enable abused women and children to have access to safe shelter and responsive services that help them establish lives free from violence. The continuum includes integrated and specialized services related to counseling, advocacy, outreach, legal and housing support, as well as programs to help build economic self-sufficiency.
  • SickKids Foundation
SickKids Foundation is the largest non-governmental granting agency in child health in Canada. Established in 1972, SickKids Foundation has granted over $500 million to The Hospital for Sick Children and over $60 million to researchers across the country.
We plan to expand our community outreach efforts in 2009 to include volunteering with Junior Achievement in their Building a Young Leader program and participating in Heat Wave Volleyball for SickKids.
